Registration opens at 8:00 AM on Thursday April 20th; bring a passport or driver's license. Talks begin at 9:00 AM and run until around 5:00 PM. There will be a lunch break in the middle of the day and shorter breaks in mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Please arrive on time; you may not be able to enter the theater while a talk is in progress.
We aren't publishing talk details or a detailed schedule; you should come for the whole thing!
Deconstruct is at the Egyptian theater on Pine St. between Harvard Ave. and Broadway. These are the front doors on Pine St.:
We're having donuts delivered each morning, but this is more a snack than full breakfast. Concessions at the theater will be also open and free, but you should probably eat something more than popcorn!
The party is on Thursday, April 20th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Optimism Brewing, a few minutes from the Egyptian theater by foot. We have two options for food: a food truck parked in Optimism's loading bay and Sizzle Pie pizza, on E. Union St. right next door to Optimism.
Both drinks and food are on us from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM; just show your Deconstruct badge.
All attendees are obligated to follow the Code of Conduct, both at the venue and at the party. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, send a text message to 206-607-9978. We have a staff member dedicated to handling CoC-related concerns at that number.
